Embrace The Mindset of A Champions
Take a moment to breathe in and breathe out. I hope that you are continuing to show yourself grace during this season. On behalf of our entire team, we want you to know that we are here for you. As we stay committed to practicing social distancing, we encourage you to do the same. Today, I am excited to invite you to our ‘Pivot to Your Purpose’ virtual series. We have been focused on ‘Pivoting to Your Purpose’ since the beginning of this year and now we are going to share tools, strategies, and programming this quarter with you in mind.
How are you feeling today? I don’t want you to give me the automatic response that you are programmed to say. Instead, I want you to assess how are you doing from a mental perspective in this present moment. I’ve studied mindset in depth and what I’ve learned is that people can operate from a place of fear or a place of growth. This week, I want you to examine where you currently are on the spectrum. Are you fearful currently or are you taking this time to stretch yourself and grow both personally and professionally? There is no right answer to this question. My only request is that you are honest with yourself.
I understand that many of you might be struggling with maintaining a growth mindset during our ‘new normal’ which is why I’ve invited someone who is no stranger to winning championships to speak to each of you. We are honored to kick off the ‘Pivot to Your Purpose’ series with Professional Champion Golfer, Alexis Belton, where we will discuss ‘The Mindset of a Champion.’ This series is for both founders and corporate professionals looking to navigate their new normal from a both a professional development and mental health perspective.
Alexis Belton is from the charming small town of Ruston, Louisiana. Belton grew up as an all-around athlete, thriving in a host of sports including gymnastics, basketball, and golf. Throughout her childhood Alexis thrived in basketball, yet as a high school junior, she discontinued her basketball journey to focus on her most loved sport – golf.
Alexis played college golf at Texas Wesleyan University (TWU) where she not only won the PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship and claimed the National title in 2013, but also thrived in her studies and graduated with a degree in Mass Communications.
After college, Alexis continued her golf career momentum becoming the assistant women’s golf coach at TWU for one season. After developing her skills in teaching and coaching the game of golf, Alexis pursued her dream of playing golf at the highest level.
Your investment to attend is only showing up virtually on April 30th at noon EST and completing the registration at the link below.
